According to AP and AFP news on Saturday (26/03/2011), water samples from about 300 yards from the waterfront. "There are fears that radiation will seep into groundwater," said Japan's Nuclear Safety Agency.

The agency also recommends that no fishing within a radius of 20 kilometers of waters that radiated.

Meanwhile, all nuclear reactors in Europe will be examined, although officials have said that the radiation contamination would not take the risk after eight days. Nevertheless, this remains a concern because the source of contamination is unknown.

Water in the vicinity of existing reactors and radioactive contaminated two workers were hospitalized. Reactor operators say there may be damage in the engine control center. They will use a blast of fresh water to cool the reactor that had experienced leakage.
